The best piece of technology: the WC

WC (water closet) is the best technology that someone could make. Just we have to think... What could we do without it? Phones, computers, cars... none of that things can be campared with "the water".

You could be thinking that it is not a technology piece, really. Well, I would like to see you on time of caverns. I'm sure that you prefer to be confortably sitting...

All my life I have been have a WC. (Thanks to God!) I don´t have to say how it has to be used... you just sit on it, do what you have to do, and don't forget flushing the lavatory!!

¿How often do you use it? We could answer "when I need it" Mmmm, twice?, three times a day? Well, I think that we have to use it more than just when we need it.

In fact, I like the WC because it means relax and inspiration. I don't know why... Maybe it's because it is the only place that you can be alone and free... nothing exists when you are in your bathroom. I think that all new technology ideas started with a man or a woman sitting in his bathroom. The same thing happened with the music, the literature, philosophy... even politic and business.

WC could have a big importance to Philosophy...

Finally, I think that if people takes more time to be alone with WC, the stress doesn't exists anymore.  THIS is real technology!

(I still working on this article. Sorry if there are mistakes.)

Favourite singer: Manuel García

Since last year, I have been listening to chilean music. There is a group of artists called "La nueva trova chilena", whose music is principally made with their guitar and their voice. They make politic, social, and sometimes romantic songs, using elements of "folk" and rock.
One of them is Manuel Garcia. He is a chilean music who was born in Arica. He started his music career on 1995, first on a band and then as a soloist. Now he has three discs: "Pánico", "Témpera", and "S/T", and a lot of another musical works.

First time I listened him I was on a friend's house, and he shows me this video at youtube.

I really liked the song, so I started to search more about him. I like his music because it speaks about our daily lives, and it remember our tradicions, and maybe our dreams.

One day, Manuel went to Puerto Montt. I saw him, and this is a video about that concert, and one of my favourite songs.

My autobiography

My name is Felipe Vialard and I'm eighteen. Now I am writing a blog for my english class, at University. I supposed to know a lot of english, that's what I thought, but now I see that I have forgotten a lot of things... so I'm very sorry if something is bad, maybe not correctly written, or if it is not very clear. You can say to me and I will correct the mistake.
Like I said, I'm a university student, in first year of Psychology. I'm studying on Santiago de Chile, at Universidad de Chile, but I don't live here. I was born on Punta Arenas, Chile, in June 26th of 1993. I lived on that city for fourteen years. It was a cold but great life, with my mother, my brother, and my two sisters. The name of my school was Escuela Villa las Nieves.
When I started first grade I went to Puerto Varas, a nice city with the Llanquihue lake and the volcanoes. I lived in Puerto Varas for four years. Well, really I still living in that place with my family, but now I came to the capital of Chile for . I go more and more to the north each time!
I like to read, to play the guitar (a little), the theater and the movies. I enjoy going out with friends and drinking some... juice. I have travelled for almost all Chile. I would like to know the world, but is not an impotant thing in this moment. That's all.
