Green habits

I'm not a specially worried person about environmentalism. Well, I always look for a trash bin for throw my litter, and I use just the water I need at the bathroom… but that`s becouse I learned that from my mother, and becouse of bills at the end of month!
At school, we learned some things too, like the tipical homework titled “what is the contamination”, or “the contamination of water”. But I don`t know if all of this is practised by students, in the streets, in our house… It is important to teach on another places to, and to listen the opinion of more and more people: the neighbors, mothers, fathers, workers.
For my travel from my house to University, I take the  public transport. I don`t have a bike, but even if I have a bike, I probably prefer don`t arrive tired to university. I need more sport spirit…
I don`t have time for write my name on a eco-organization list, and participe on that. But I am opened to learn and receive new information, and to change some habits that are bad.
I have not take cared of my footprint: I have to learn about that. I think this is precisely the problem of a lot of people in our society. Maybe we don`t check the new information about environmentalism. This is so easy today, with the internet we can know how to be more worried, and active, daily.

Vote lies

We always listen the comment  that people always say: I could give my vote to the candidate Pérez, or to candidate González, nothing is going to change. Why don`t we believe on politicians?
First, we don`t have real representators. Democracy is a theater. Today, to be a politician is not a task delegated from a group. It is a job. And the candidate who is working as senator today, next year will be candidate to  mayor,  and next, to deputy. The same faces are repeated again and again and again, for years.  The same faces, from the same “partys”, every year, far and  further of people. Just a picture of a face on the streets, without content, without arguments, and without projects.

Second, were do this politicians live? They live, the share with the citizen who is “represented”? Does the candidate just talk with comunity, any time? The answer is: Only when they need your vote. And they need the vote just for don`t lose his job. We have to add that this is a great job (they don`t earn a low salary…). Adicionally, they can control estrategic areas to the politic of country. Thay can order the economy in the way they want. Sadly, this isn`t an issue of right or left. In Chile, all that is the same. Right of thieves, left of traitors.

That`s why I can`t see me as a politician. No with this conditions. I think we have to organize and make an independent project, and left this old habit of vote without think.

Chávez wins: The reaction of our chilean politicians.

I read an article about the reaction of some chilean politicians, whit the recent notice of Hugo Chávez being re-elected president of Venezuela. They have diferent opinions…
Some chilean politicians flew to Caracas invited by the oppositor candidate, H.Capriles to observe that the voting process was fair. For example, Juan Carlos Latorre, said that he had no reason to think that the result was unjust.
But there are some controversial opinions, too. Gonzalo Arenas (UDI), on his count of Twitter, called Chávez  “ape”, and he add: “Now there will be free bananas for everyone in Caracas.”
I don`t have to be a psychologist for know that this is an empty joke. Could you gave us a better argument, deputy?
Obviously, venezuelan immigrants in Chile were disappointed with the results. Of the total of 1,396 who voted at the consulate in Santiago, 1,226 voted for Capriles and only 136 for Chávez. But this doesn`t say anything. If you are agree with Chàvez, you woudn`t leave your country!!

In venezuelan capital things were different, there where parties in the streets following the announcement of the 54 percent majority.

Capriles, meanwhile, was graceful in defeat.“For me the people's voices are sacred” “We started to build a road and there it is'. We have 6 million people who want a new road." I don`t read nothing about “apes” here.

Friends

I think that to make a “classification” of friends is not a great idea. That`s because when I was a kid, I lose some really good friends because I didn`t consider them like my “bests friends”. In fact, you can`t know if a “secondary friend” is really better than your supposed “B.F”.
Fortunately, I can say that I have had some important friends. I could write about some people from my live in high school.

They are Villa (Daniel) and Hiena (Cristobal). I met them at first grade of high school (I was new in the city). That was five years ago. I remember that teacher change Cristobal of sit, near to me, and we start to talk. I met Dani making the first homework, we work together.
Months later, we three were already friends. In all this years we have traveled in summers, we have gone to camp… we drank, and to went out in weekends. A memory I remember is once when we wanted to drink at the school, at night. It meant weeks of problems with direction…
Last two years we and another guys started a group called “Los charros”. That stupid name didn`t have a reason. Today, charros don`t exist anymore, but we still going out when we can, speaking and making plans. I still can count with them, and they know that they can count with me. And that’s a friend, I think.
