The most special memorie that I keep of my vacations, is to travelling with my family by car. My mother was always at the wheel, driving, and my brothers  and me in the back sit. We were smaller than now, of course…  Almost all of our travels were by that way. And we traveled from Punta Arenas!

I remember, when I was four years old, our best family achievement. We traveled from P.A. to Arica, by car. (There were another times… rutes were free, fuel was cheaper). So we can say that we know Chile as long as it is. Unfortunately, I don`t remeber that travel really… It was so much time ago.

That wasn`t the only  thing we make. We have traveled until Atlantic Ocean in south of Argentina, we knew the Ice Caps and discovered the XI region of Chile, and we went to Tierra del Fuego.

There were two reasons for stop this family adventures. Make it today is more expensive than travelling on bus, even by plane. The other reason, is becouse we can`t go all, a lot of hours , on a small vehicle… We have grew.
